Job Summary
As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through high‑quality mammographic imaging. You’ll provide compassionate patient care, ensure accurate documentation and imaging quality, and maintain strong technical expertise in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational values.
Qualifications
Education
- 2‑year / Associate Degree in Radiology/Mammography (Required)
Work Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a mammogram environment (Required)
Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Mammography (M), ARRT (Required)
- Certified Bone Densitometry (BD), ARRT (Required)

Documentation
- Accurately documents all required clinical and operational information in a timely manner.
- Ensures documentation aligns with policies, processes, and expected standards.
- Uses correct terminology and required formatting guidelines.
- Tailors documentation to appropriate readers and users.

- Uses technology to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Adapts quickly to new or updated technology.
Additional Duties
- Adheres to organizational guidelines for attendance and punctuality.

- Completes all job duties per departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge through continuing education, self‑study, and required training.
- Attends staff meetings, completes mandatory in‑services, and meets competency requirements on time.

- For non‑clinical interactions, demonstrates age‑specific customer service skills.
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate for safety.
