Required Certifications/Licensures:
Must be accepted to an accredited school of pharmacy and be registered with the GA board of Pharmacy as an intern.
Essential Functions
PRODUCTIVITY OF THE PHARMACY DEPARTMENT:
Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Responsible for answering phones, windows, and doors.
Assists pharmacist in performing daily tasks and responsibilities.
Keeps work area clean, orderly, and free of hazardous materials.
Assumes duties and responsibilities of pharmacy technician as workload requires.
CONTINUOUS LEARNING:
Develops needed skills to facilitate didactic pharmacy training.
Assesses own strengths and weaknesses.
Seeks feedback to improve performance.
Develops and maintains competency in needed skills to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities.
DOCUMENTATION:
Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion.
Clearly and accurately documents designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc.
Ensures that documentation is tailored to expected readers / users.
Uses correct terminology.
Conforms to required style and format.
TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT USE:
Demonstrates technical skill in using equipment appropriate for role.
Understands equipment operation.
Maintains equipment in working order.
Troubleshoots equipment problems.
Uses technology to increase productivity.
Adapts to new technology
Additional Duties
Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
