Job Summary
Perform routine radiological x-ray and CT procedures as required. Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients.
Qualifications:
- Vocational - Technical Degree in Radiography Program (Required)
- 2 year - Associate Degree in Radiography Program (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 1 - 2 years Radiology or X-Rays Experience (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Required Certifications/Licensures: ARRT Registry eligible obtained within one year of hire
Essential Functions:
RADIOLOGY TECH JOB DUTIES:
- Provide diagnostic tests for patients.
- Performs diagnostic procedures to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Maintains files on each patient.
- Accounts for films and reports received.
TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT USE:
- Demonstrates technical skill in using equipment appropriate for role.
- Understands equipment operation.
- Maintains equipment in working order.
- Troubleshoots equipment problems.
- Uses technology to increase productivity.
- Adapts to new technology
CARE PROCESSES:
- Treats patients and families with compassion and implements plan of care.
- Bases care decisions on plan of care.

- Prioritizes data collection based on the patient's condition and needs.
- Identifies expected outcomes and plan based on diagnoses or issues.
DOCUMENTATION:
- Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion.
- Clearly and accurately documents designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc.
- Ensures that documentation is tailored to expected readers, users.
- Uses correct terminology.
- Conforms to required style and format.
