Job Summary
This is a high profile position that requires strong written and communication skills, organization, and ability to build relationships with key Phoebe departmental personnel. They will deliver high quality, results-driven marketing initiatives. They will be a planning and marketing liaison to Inpatient Rehab. The employee will also serve as admissions coordinator, facilitating the admissions activity in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and company policies so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facilities business objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in PT, OT, Speech or other Allied Health Program Required
Work Experience
- 1 or more years Rehab experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire Required
- Current Registration or License in the State of Georgia in area of specialty Upon Hire Required
- CRRN - Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
Essential Functions
- Collects data in a systematic and ongoing process

- Prioritizes data collection based on the patient's condition and needs

- Plans, researches, and creates marketing plans for Inpatient Rehab that adhere to PPMH branding guidelines; identifies marketing goals, budget recommendations, key communications tactics, timelines; and outlines measurements and agreed outcomes that determine success
- Participates in activities required to promote services to the regional business and payor communities
- Responsible for responding to referral sources
- Establishes and maintains excellent rapport with all referral sources
- Establishes effective communication with appropriate members of the medical community, discharge planners, case managers, local industry, and other consumers
- Facilitates all activities related to the admission process
- Responds to internal referrals within 2 hours and external referrals within 24 hours
- Accurately obtains information regarding patients' eligibility by chart reviews, financial review, interviewing the patient to determine functional abilities, current and prior to onset of symptoms, and explains the Rehab concept to patient and family
