RN Clinical Coordinator - Corporate Health

JOB SUMMARY
  • Serves as a leader and role model. Responsible for clinic staffing and efficiencies, coordinating employees, daily clinic activities, and overall clinic flow. Collaborates with management team and clinic providers to provide appropriate clinic employee oversight. Must have natural leadership ability capable of interacting and gaining respect among Physicians, midlevels providers, and staff. Develops and implements the training program for the nursing staff who are responsible for explaining individualized treatment plans to the patient and his/her family for treatment protocols and/or procedures. May serve as back-up to the Physician pod as a Team Leader if not adequately staffed due to employee shortages.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization
  • Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
  • Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school, RNs hired after January 1, 2017 must obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school within 5 years of date of hire (Required)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 - 5 years Clinical practice in nursing (Required)
  • 2 - 3 years Management (Required)
  • 2 - 3 years Computer skills (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license
