Provider Compensation Specialist

Job Summary
Provider Compensation Specialist is responsible for reconciling provider compensation to contract or compensation plan, performing quarterly reviews of provider compensation, preparing bonus calculations and payments, submitting survey data, keeping reports updated with the most current information, as well as preparing any ad hoc reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other business-related field (Required)
Work Experience
- 1 or more years work experience in accounting, finance, economics, or another analytical field (Preferred)
Essential Functions
- Responsible for reconciling provider compensation to contract, preparing bonus calculations and payments, submitting survey data, keeping reports updated with the most current information, as well as preparing any ad hoc reports
- Assists with provider contract changes with Legal and maintains contracts in contract management system
- Responsible for preparation and submission of all required forms to HR and Payroll to support provider compensation programs
- Maintains monthly productivity data and calculates pro forma compensation for active and proposed compensation programs
- Maintains monthly accruals in General Ledger for incentives earned but not paid
- Prepares data and assists in various compensation surveys. May conduct or oversee special surveys to gather data on specific issue areas as required
- Calculates quarterly productivity and incentive payments
- Performs periodic reconciliations of actual comp to provider contract terms to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate
