As an Operations Team Lead Pharmacist, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing day‑to‑day leadership of pharmacy operations.
- Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant preparation, distribution, and management of medications.
- Serving as a working pharmacist while acting as a resource and operational lead for pharmacy staff.
- Overseeing workflow coordination to maintain smooth and timely operations.
- Maintaining adherence to regulatory, institutional, and accreditation standards.
- Supporting quality assurance initiatives and operational improvement processes.
- Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medications across patient populations.
- Managing selected drug therapies in alignment with clinical and operational guidelines.
- Overseeing the compounding, dispensing, labeling, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Participating in the education of patients, nurses, and physicians on medication safety and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Higher Degree in B.S. Pharmacy (5 year degree) or Pharm.D. (6 year degree) - Required
- Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Related - Preferred
- Other Degree in ASHP Accredited PGY1 or PGY2 Residency - Preferred
Work experience:
- 1 year Hospital Pharmacy - Preferred
- 1 year SHP Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program(s) - Preferred
Licenses, Certifications & Required Training:
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist - Required
