New Employee Orientation (NEO)
Our orientation program for all new employees begins with a welcome from our President and CEO, Scott Steiner. It covers topics such as compliance, quality, service excellence and benefits, as well as our values. You’ll meet your manager and receive on-the-job training in your department.
Tuition Reimbursement and Academic Partnerships
You can always apply for tuition assistance if you want to continue your education, specifically in fields where workforce gaps may exist. We have long-established relationships with respected universities. All eligible employees can receive up to $5,200 annually in tuition assistance.

Simulation and Innovation Center
Our new 22,000 square-foot simulation lab is unique to the region and offers an exciting opportunity for clinical personnel to gain invaluable experience, build confidence and gain critical-thinking skills. It features environments identical to real practice (ICU, ED, Med-Surg, OR, NICU), with high-fidelity mannequins, supplies, equipment and EMR, and lets us record, stream and share trainings.

LEAD
This one-year, premier leadership program is available to all employees, from front-line workers to executive leadership, and covers customer-focused leadership fundamentals, change management, engagement, accountability, coaching and more.

Leader Fundamentals
For new managers, directors and executives, we offer a five-day course, three times a year. This program equips new leaders with a working knowledge of the functional aspects of management and Phoebe Health operations.

Nurse Residency Program
All new registered nurses with less than a year of experience hired at any of our four campuses will participate in a one-year residency program at our Phoebe Main campus designed to help them transition into practice. Learn more.

Nursing Simulation Training Program (NSTEP)
NSTEP helps graduate nurses bridge the gap between nursing school and new employment. This 4-week, intense program offers hands-on simulation and training. It offers feedback in real time, along with coaching on Phoebe protocols.
