  • The cardiovascular technologist acts as a clinical / technical support team member. They are competent in cardiac invasive procedural skill sets such as , surgical scrub, hemodynamic monitoring and clinical data computation and acquisition. The cardiovascular technologist provides on call coverage as assigned and as rotations require. They are competent in cardiac imaging PACS acquisition and data management. The CVT is required to functionally perform duties in Cath Lab, EP lab and Interventional Vascular Lab as needed on a daily basis.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 year / Associate Degree in Accredited Cardiovascular Program (Required)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 1 - 2 years Cardiovascular Technology Experience (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) obtained within one year of hire, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) obtained within one year of hire, or Radiology Tech (ARRT)
