Facility Technician Educator

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

● High School Diploma or GED (Required) Vocational / Technical Degree in Facility or Engineering Management or Maintenance or other related eld, such as: HVA, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, and/or Fire Safety; In lieu of a vocational/technical degree an additional 12 ● years of experience, expertise and knowledge in Facilities Management in a healthcare environment may be accepted. (Required)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

8+ years Must be able to demonstrate experience and a high level of knowledge in Life Safety and compliance-related areas. (Preferred) ● 8+ years Facility or Engineering Management or Maintenance or other related eld, such as: HVAC-Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, and/or Fire Safety. (Required)

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

Required Certifications/Licensures: NFPA Life Safety Code Certification

Must have some working knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair responsibilities related to equipment and buildings in a healthcare or similar environment. ● Required Certifications/Licensures: NFPA Life Safety Code Certification
