Radiology Tech

JOB SUMMARY
Radiology Technicians are responsible to perform high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the supervision of a qualified Physician for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. The technologist will conduct the procedures according to department protocols and followed established radiation safety guidelines. The technologist provides direct patient care for all ages of patients. The technologist is to provide very good service that is to treat every patient with respect, courtesy and explain the exam to the patient. The technologist must be able to work together with others providing a positive work environment. The technologist is responsible to provide a safe environment for the patients, fellow employees and themselves.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•    Vocational / Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology (Required) 


CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
•    Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Radiography (R)(ARRT)
