Registered Nurse, Rapid Response Team Per Diem/PRN Nights

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

2 years Critical Care or Emergency Room nursing experience (Required)
Previous Charge Nurse or MET team experience (Preferred)

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

Required Certifications/Licensures: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Required) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Georgia Stroke Curriculum (Required within six months of hire)
Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR), Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC)

Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines

Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e. self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time
Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage or age-specific customer service skills
Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate

Have good-manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination
