Essential Functions
Effectively uses critical thinking skills and attention to detail to conduct thorough analysis of market data and internal equity factors to make grade recommendations, often relying on inference as well as the available data.
Assist with the development, design, and maintenance of the system's job architecture, to include but not limited to, development of job categories and job families. Maintain job architecture within Workday.
Develops and recommends compensation programs and associated policies and procedures designed to meet the changing needs of the health system and its employees.
Recommend policy and document practices in the administration of base pay, differentials, and other special pay programs.
Prepares and submits data for annual salary surveys. Conducts or oversee special surveys to gather data on specific issue areas as required.
Designs, implements, and maintains competitive compensation structures, ensuring alignment with market trends and business needs.
Support strategic decision-making by creating and managing dynamic reporting through technology-based tools.
Analyze and interpret market data and develops recommendations for leadership to ensure salary structures and pay practices remain competitive and compliant.
Perform data integrity checks, audits, and troubleshooting within compensation systems to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Conducts job audits and coordinates the development of position descriptions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related field.
Work Experience
5+ years of experience in compensation or related field.
Experience performing advance function in Microsoft Excel. (Required)
Experience working as part of a team. (Required)
Experience with Workday. (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred)
